Edward has served patients for over 20 years as a Certified Addictions Professional specializing in individual and family therapy, co-occurring disorder in the field of Mental Health, Addiction and Relapse Prevention, and 12-step Spirituality.
Edward holds a Masters Degree in counseling from Seton Hall University, N.J., a BS degree in clinical Psychology from Brenau University, Gainesville, Georgia, and an AA Degree in Human Services from Edison College, FI. Edward holds the ICRC International Certification in Alcohol and Drug Counselling, Fla. Certification Board Certified Addictions Professional, FCB Certified Relapse Prevention Specialist, and FCB Certified Mental Health Professional. Edward is not unfamiliar with the Judicial System. He served Palm Beach County as Mental Health Liaison between Palm Beach Co.and the South Florida Treatment and Evaluation Center, in Miami. He worked for the Broward Co. Sheriffs dept as a Drug-Court and In-Custody treatment counselor for almost 10 years. Edward has also been teaching for Barry University for over 15 years as an Adjunct Professor of Theology and Philosophy.
Edward is a caring professional that treats his patients and their families with total understanding and dignity, focusing on the addiction cycle and solutions to the scourge of alcohol and drug addiction. As Clinical Director, he helps to focus the treatment in the Recovery Process, as healing, rather than than using punitive model.
